Types of Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Treatments

Breast Cancer is one of the most common cancers in women and can even develop at a young age. Breast Cancer is caused by the presence of malignant cells in the breasts. These cells are known as carcinoma which has the ability to spread to other parts of the body. The spread of Breast Cancer depends on a number of different factors.

It is important to understand that there are two different types of Breast Cancer and the treatment for each type of Breast Cancer is slightly different. The two types are: the lymphoma and the endometrial cancers. Lymphomas are the two types of Breast Cancer and they are both non-cancerous growths in the breast that can grow and be malignant. The two are very different and there are different treatments for each one.

Lymphomas are found in the breast tissue, under the skin, and in the tissue of the breast and they can grow quickly. There are two types of lymphomas, the disease-causing cell-lines and the non-diseasing cell-lines. There are many different symptoms of breast cancer. The most common symptom is an abnormal lump in the breast. Other symptoms of breast cancer are an associated infection (usually of the lymph nodes or glands), a change in the shape of the breast (such as drooping or thickening), or pain in the area of the breast.

Endometrial breast cancers are also classified as breast cancers but are not related to the breast. Endometrial cells are the egg cells that are released from the glands that are inside the uterus during childbirth. Some of these cells become invasive and can spread throughout the body through the bloodstream and lymphatic system. Other than being found in the breast, endometrial tissues can also be found in the areas surrounding the vagina, the rectum, and the stomach. Some of the glands that endometrial cells originate from are the ovaries and the thyroid gland. Diagnosis of endometrial cancer usually involves a physical examination of the breast and/or a pelvic examination.

Lobular carcinoma or rarely referred to as lobular carcinoma vulgaris is one of the three types of more common breast cancer. The lining tissue of the lobules (the individual modules themselves) of the breast is called the mammary gland. This type of breast cancer is the most common type of breast cancer. Breast nodules are found in less than twenty-five percent of women with breast cancer. Less than five percent of women with this condition actually have symptoms.

Endogenous ductal carcinoma is a kind of cancer that originates outside the breast and spreads into the lymph vessels and blood system, generally affecting the lymph vessels. This is one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. Patients with endogenous ductal carcinoma have a high risk of spreading to the lymph vessels in the legs, lungs, and abdominal cavity. Symptoms of this form of breast cancer can be easily mistaken for other conditions such as gallbladder disease, emphysema, or sarcoma.

Chemically linked breast cancer cells are one of the two types of cell that can be spread by surgery. Surgeries carrying out removal of the lymph nodes (tonsillectomy) or the lymph nodes around the neck are the main ways of spreading breast cancer cells. This is because the cells from these areas can easily travel through the air. There are also cases where breast cancer cells that spread to the lymph vessels were not originally there, but developed after surgery. It is very difficult to distinguish between the two types of breast cancer diagnosis.

Radiation therapy associated with chemotherapy is another less common method of treating invasive ductal carcinoma. The treatment involves exposure to high-energy rays of gamma or x-rays. It is important to note that there are some situations where it is not appropriate to resort to this method of treatment. For instance, in cases where the disease has not spread beyond the lymph nodes, radiation therapy is not usually recommended.
